I had used a Re1 ticket in place of a 10INR ticket to post my letter, I realized this, days after posting my letter through Indian Post. A few more days later, I realized 4, 10INR tickets were left inside the envelope I had posted which implies, that not only would my present letter not be delivered but I would have to time-travel to visit the Indian post office to post a new letter as my stamps were out of stock.
This was not the worst in my life as multiple times in the past, my letters were undelivered and the postman had brazenly refused to accept they had arrived at the post office despite requesting him and complaining to Indian Post. I have been looking for a solution and have tried unsuccessfully.
This incident felt like a sign to stop sending the letters.
After 2 months, one afternoon, which is more than twice the usual time to get the response, I received the letter.
It was no less than a miracle,
One I used 1/10 the amount required to post it
and
second, Wasn't Sunny, the postman wicked to deliver it?
The first reason still surprises me in many ways. How their sleepy attitude worked for me in the adverse situation!!
The mystery of the second reason was solved when I discovered 4, 10INR stamps on my letter, the exact amount required for a registered post.
So, yeah, Sunny had to deliver the registered post.
Was it a mere coincidence to find the solution the way I did?
Every piece falling into its perfect place at the perfect timing with so-called mistakes being part of it is rather amazing and can't be a mere play of probability.
Probability does not have brains. It seems to be the
work of an exceptionally fine mind.
BTW the Re1 tickets were accidentally bought by my sister in my hometown town Post office and were lying for about 2 years in my stamp box. Who knew it then, the wrong stamps will solve my future problem?
